Universos is Porto Alegre’s new urban refuge: a space that brings together a bookstore, a wine cellar, a café, and art, all within a beautifully restored house in the Três Figueiras neighborhood.
Our lighting project at Universos was designed to enhance every experience — more than just illuminating, it creates atmospheres. Each detail was carefully planned to inspire reading, relaxation, and contemplation:
- Soft, focused lighting on bookshelves and reading corners, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in a good book.
- Warm, cozy light in the café and wine cellar, highlighting textures, wine labels, and flavors while ensuring visual comfort.
- Functional illumination in circulation areas, offering safety and ease of movement without losing elegance.
- Balanced contrasts, with focused light where attention is needed and diffuse light where calm and relaxation take center stage.
The result is a truly special environment for moments of leisure: reading with a cup of coffee, enjoying a glass of wine, or simply appreciating the ambiance. Light here makes the space intimate yet functional — every detail designed to inspire tranquility, focus, and pleasure.
